The 12th PAMELA Software Meeting will be held on December 12, 13 and 14 at the "Polo Universitario" (or "Polo Scientifico") of Sesto Fiorentino, Florence. The meeting room will be located inside the Classrooms&Library building ("Aule e Biblioteca").

Travel

From Florence city centre to "Polo Universitario"

The best way to reach the "Polo Universitario" is by bus 57 (timetable). In order to get to the bus stop from the train station ("Stazione SMN FS") go out from the exit in front of the platforms, past the Tickets Hall and go down the stairs outside.
A bus ticket valid for 70 minutes costs 1.20 euro and can be bought at automatic machines (not available at every bus stop), in some bar or newspaper kiosk (if you buy it on the bus the cost is 2.00 euro).  There are also multiple tickets (4  uses) for 4.50 euro.

 

In the "Polo Universitario" the bus stop is in "via della Lastruccia", in front of the Chemistry Department.  The meeting building is indicated in yellow.

The path of bus 57 to Sesto Fiorentino runs at the border among the orange, red, green and pink areas, where most of the hotels are located.
