The
3rd edition of the International Workshop "The Critical Point
and
Onset of Deconfinement" and the 2nd edition of the International
Workshop "Correlations and
Fluctuations in
Relativistic Nuclear Collisions" will be held in Florence (Italy) at
the Galileo Galilei Institute (http://www.fi.infn.it/GGI/) on
July 3-6 and 7-9 2006 respectively.
The Galileo Galilei Institute is located on the southern hills of
Florence, in a beatiful area of the town.
The previous editions were held in 2005 at the
Department of Physics and Technology at the University of
Bergen
(http://www.ift.uib.no/criticalpoint/workshop_home.html)
and at MIT, Boston (USA) (http://www.mit.edu/~vaurynov/21april2005workshop/).
The number of participants is limited to 80-90. Attendance is by
invitation only.
Financial support to cover lodging expenses will be provided to some
student and unsupported participants in a limited number.
A conference fee of 300 € has to be paid cash at the registration desk upon arrival.
The accomodation in Florence will be provided by the Organizing
Commitee in hotels nearby the Galileo Galilei Institute upon
request. Those willing to make own reservation are strongly recommended to do it as
early as possible, being Florence a crowded major touristic site in Italy. |
